Women’s Hair Loss and Hair Replacement FAQs

Q:  What causes hair loss in women?

A:  There are a number of things that can cause hair loss in women.  Some women experience hair loss because it is an inherited family trait.  Others can experience hair loss as a result of a medical condition.  In some cases hair loss can also be caused by stress, diet or even not properly taking care of your hair.  If you are just starting to experience hair loss, before you pursue a solution you should first talk with your Doctor to determine the cause.  If it is medically related, getting the proper treatment could reverse the loss.
